Showcasing Grace Martin

While my interests and curiosities are many, my primary passion centers on horses. My interests in graphic design and photography originated from studying the trainer and exhibitor ads in equine trade publications and inspired me to start my own graphic design company, Grace Martin Designs. From there, I became interested in marketing and business.

Going into my senior year, I've been fortunate to become very involved at the University of Washington. I'm a handler for UW's live husky mascot, "Dubs", and get to make appearances with him at events around the community and - my favorite - leading the pack out of the tunnel at football games. I also serve as the Vice President for the Dawg Pack's (UW's student section) Executive Board, which has given me many opportunities to connect to my school's community.

As a student in the Law, Societies, and Justice major at the University of Washington, I hope to gain knowledge about law and ethics, while continuing to gain real world experience about businesses, marketing, and design. I hope to learn as much as possible about marketing, business administration, and law to hopefully open my own business one day. I am currently interning at Alaska National Insurance Company with the Commercial Property & Causalty Claims, which combines my two interests of law and business.
